Working with Filmhouse to create filmhouseng.com, no doubt, has to be one of our favorite moments during the 2nd Half of 2018. We had just completed an exciting in-house project(can't wait to share with you) and wanted something equally exciting and buzz-worthy. The universe may have been listening to us because, within a few days, we got a call from the Filmhouse team and well...the rest is history. So, buckle down and join us on this journey, as we take you through our process of creating Nigeria's favorite cinema web-app.
Research
We were sure we wouldn't do justice to our client's brief if we didn'tcompletely immerse ourselves - Sherlock Holmes-style - into their business. It was important to know what Filmhouse hoped to achieve with this soft-rebrand. But one thing was clear to us from the outset - they wanted a World-Class Product. And luckily, they called the right software development company [as you should too]. At Summitech, we pride ourselves as a team of young ambitious tech geniuses with the hunger of creating solutions with rich experience - and that was exactly what we set out to achieve with Filmhouse.
Conclusion
This project made us realize how the typical Nigerian entertainment consumer interacts with digital products. During our user-testing sessions, we observed closely, how people of different ages and social classes interact differently with products online. Whew! We learned a lot and promise to share in more case studies.
